2014 - 2018
"Maggi's Miracles," painted by the artist as a gift to a dear friend, in memory of her late sister.
"The Bride and Groom" is a small portraiture , commissioned for a wedding gift.
"On The Way" is a 9 ft x 14 ft mural commissioned by the restaurateur of "On The Way Cafe," located in Mequon, WI. The mural creates a sense of peaceful respite, "on the way" to wherever one is going.
Next are the murals that adorn the Mequon Nature Preserve bench, filled with magical creatures in the beautiful setting of wetlands and woodlands. This bench is "Pat's Pond and Harvey's Woods."
The next painting is "Fly Fishing on the Deschutes River," a custom piece of art. It is so rewarding when a client's face lights up, looking at a special moment in time captured in a whole different way.
Bridget King has also donated her time and materials to the city of Mequon, creating a 15 foot banner, "Artists' Way," for the city's annual festival, ' Taste of Mequon.'
Another recent work is a four-paneled mural of fairies, enchanted forests, and woodland animals..."Juniper Luna and the Forest Fairies." The clients needed something portable, and able to be separated. Each panel is its own piece of art, and all together, they complete the forest scene.
Lastly, another simple nursery mural, "Gender Neutral," with a touch of pink ;)
